THE CHALLENGE

Can the same visual idea stay clear across different sizes and shapes?

FICTIONAL PRACTICE BRIEF: Green Bench is a student repair club. It runs a free notebook-cover repair workshop on Saturday, 14:00 to 16:00, in Room B. There are 12 places. Learners bring one worn notebook; tools and scrap card are provided. Register using the club form. No date, form URL, access arrangements, impact figures, or testimonials have been supplied. Ask the organiser about missing details before publishing. This is a creative exercise, not a real event.

Build it, step by step

  1. 01

Write a visual brief with subject, composition, and text space.

  2. 02

Make two generated concepts or paper sketches.

  3. 03

Choose a concept and build a poster, tile, and three slides.

  4. 04

Add readable lettering and appropriate image descriptions.

  5. 05

Review exports or mockups and include an asset permission log.

Your project checklist

  • Two concepts with a reasoned selection.
  • A consistent but format-aware visual pack.
  • Essential event text available outside images.
  • Source and permission records with unresolved items marked.
