THE CHALLENGE

How can a reader recognise the same helpful voice across different messages?

FICTIONAL PRACTICE BRIEF: Green Bench is a student repair club. It runs a free notebook-cover repair workshop on Saturday, 14:00 to 16:00, in Room B. There are 12 places. Learners bring one worn notebook; tools and scrap card are provided. Register using the club form. No date, form URL, access arrangements, impact figures, or testimonials have been supplied. Ask the organiser about missing details before publishing. This is a creative exercise, not a real event.

Build it, step by step

  1. 01

Define the reader, purpose, and approved source facts.

  2. 02

Write three voice rules with examples.

  3. 03

Draft three announcements using different openings.

  4. 04

Compare the drafts, audit claims, and edit the weakest one.

  5. 05

Package the guide, prompt record, drafts, and revision notes.

Your project checklist

  • A specific reader and one action per announcement.
  • Three usable voice rules and before-and-after examples.
  • No invented event details or unsupported outcomes.
  • A labelled AI-use note and clear unresolved questions.

Review this project yourself or with a mentor. Projects are portfolio work and do not add to the lesson completion count.
