# Explain AI use honestly

AI Content Creation | Module 16: Create responsibly and build trust

## Your goal

Make the production process clear without overstating it.

A production note can say which parts used AI and which parts you edited or verified. Keep the wording specific: AI assisted the first draft, while I checked the event facts and wrote the final version.

A realistic synthetic scene can be mistaken for a real event. Label illustrative work clearly, and check the destination platform rules before publishing. YouTube, for example, has disclosure guidance for realistic altered or generated content.

A disclosure does not repair a false claim or missing permission. Resolve those problems first. Keep the current platform guidance with your release checklist because interfaces and policies can change.

## Source pack

FICTIONAL PRACTICE BRIEF: Green Bench is a student repair club. It runs a free notebook-cover repair workshop on Saturday, 14:00 to 16:00, in Room B. There are 12 places. Learners bring one worn notebook; tools and scrap card are provided. Register using the club form. No date, form URL, access arrangements, impact figures, or testimonials have been supplied. Ask the organiser about missing details before publishing. This is a creative exercise, not a real event.

## Worked example

Write a production note and a release decision for a fictional generated workshop illustration.

### Production note

This practice illustration was generated from my visual brief. I selected the layout and edited the accompanying text using the fictional source pack.

### Audience label

Illustration of a proposed workshop scene. It is not a photograph of an actual Green Bench event.

### Release decision

Keep the asset as a draft until the event details and permissions are confirmed, then check the destination platform disclosure requirements.

## Your work

Write a production note and a release decision for a fictional generated workshop illustration.

### Production note

Write at least 8 words.

### Audience label

Write at least 8 words.

### Release decision

Write at least 8 words.

## Review your work

- [ ] The note accurately describes my process.
- [ ] The illustration is not presented as documentary evidence.
- [ ] I checked or identified the current platform guidance.

Completeness checks do not assess creative quality or factual accuracy. Review the actual work yourself or with a mentor.
