# Extract the reusable core

AI Content Creation | Module 14: Repurpose without losing the message

## Your goal

Identify the message that every version must preserve.

Repurposing starts with a stable source, not a chain of summaries. List the core claim, approved facts, reader action, and limits. Refer back to that list for each new format.

Repeated compression can lose conditions. A full invitation might say tools are provided, while a careless summary suggests everything is provided. Keep the requirement to bring a notebook.

Mark which details are mandatory and which are optional. The event time and location are essential in a complete invitation; a decorative opening is not.

## Source pack

FICTIONAL PRACTICE BRIEF: Green Bench is a student repair club. It runs a free notebook-cover repair workshop on Saturday, 14:00 to 16:00, in Room B. There are 12 places. Learners bring one worn notebook; tools and scrap card are provided. Register using the club form. No date, form URL, access arrangements, impact figures, or testimonials have been supplied. Ask the organiser about missing details before publishing. This is a creative exercise, not a real event.

## Worked example

Create a reusable message record for the workshop.

### Core message

Green Bench invites students to a free notebook-cover repair workshop where learners bring one worn notebook and materials are supplied.

### Must keep

Preserve Saturday, 14:00 to 16:00, Room B, twelve places, and the registration action whenever creating a complete invitation.

### Limits

Do not add a date, impact claim, testimonial, or form URL. Keep the missing-information list attached to working drafts.

## Your work

Create a reusable message record for the workshop.

### Core message

Write at least 8 words.

### Must keep

Write at least 8 words.

### Limits

Write at least 8 words.

## Review your work

- [ ] The core comes from the approved source.
- [ ] Mandatory details are named.
- [ ] The limits follow every version.

Completeness checks do not assess creative quality or factual accuracy. Review the actual work yourself or with a mentor.

   A. The approved source and message record.
