# Draft and edit a short article

AI Content Creation | Module 08: Create useful articles

## Your goal

Turn an outline into clear, supported prose.

Draft one section at a time when your source material is short. Keep the central answer near the start. Add only details that help the reader act or understand.

A page title should describe the content honestly. Repeating a search phrase does not make an article more useful. Add original judgement through clear explanations and practical organisation.

Review every number, link, and promise. Then read the draft on a small screen and cut repetition. Keep a note of what still needs approval.

## Source pack

FICTIONAL PRACTICE BRIEF: Green Bench is a student repair club. It runs a free notebook-cover repair workshop on Saturday, 14:00 to 16:00, in Room B. There are 12 places. Learners bring one worn notebook; tools and scrap card are provided. Register using the club form. No date, form URL, access arrangements, impact figures, or testimonials have been supplied. Ask the organiser about missing details before publishing. This is a creative exercise, not a real event.

## Worked example

Write an opening, a practical section, and a descriptive page title.

### Title and opening

Prepare for the Green Bench workshop. Bring one worn notebook to practise repairing its cover at our free session.

### Practical section

Tools and scrap card are provided. The session runs Saturday, 14:00 to 16:00, in Room B, with twelve places available.

### Editorial note

The title describes the page without making a ranking promise. Confirm the date and registration link before adding the final sign-up section.

## Review your work

- [ ] The opening answers the reader question.
- [ ] The title accurately describes the article.
- [ ] I removed unsupported or repeated claims.

Completeness checks do not assess creative quality or factual accuracy. Review the actual work yourself or with a mentor.

   A. It repeats a keyword again.
   B. It makes the page longer.
