# Audit an AI draft for claims

AI Content Creation | Module 04: Research before you draft

## Your goal

Remove, qualify, or verify every unsupported statement.

Read a draft sentence by sentence. Mark names, times, amounts, promises, and comparisons. These are factual claims that need support, even when they appear in a headline.

Suppose a draft says Green Bench has saved one thousand notebooks. The source pack gives no impact figure. Remove the number and ask for evidence rather than replacing it with another guess.

Keep a claim log with the statement, source, decision, and revised wording. For uncertain details, write a visible internal note and hold publication until it is resolved.

## Source pack

FICTIONAL PRACTICE BRIEF: Green Bench is a student repair club. It runs a free notebook-cover repair workshop on Saturday, 14:00 to 16:00, in Room B. There are 12 places. Learners bring one worn notebook; tools and scrap card are provided. Register using the club form. No date, form URL, access arrangements, impact figures, or testimonials have been supplied. Ask the organiser about missing details before publishing. This is a creative exercise, not a real event.
