# What AI can help you make

AI Content Creation | Module 01: Start with a useful brief

## Your goal

Separate creative assistance from your own editorial decisions.

A text assistant can suggest angles, outlines, and drafts. An image tool can explore compositions. Speech and video tools can help with rough cuts. You still choose the purpose, inspect the result, and decide what is ready.

A confident answer can contain invented facts. For Green Bench, a draft promising certified trainers or guaranteed repair success would add claims that the brief never supplied.

Work in three passes: plan the message, make a draft, then review it. You can use the sample below when a tool is unavailable. The course workspace is a writing and review tool, not a connected AI generator.

## Source pack

FICTIONAL PRACTICE BRIEF: Green Bench is a student repair club. It runs a free notebook-cover repair workshop on Saturday, 14:00 to 16:00, in Room B. There are 12 places. Learners bring one worn notebook; tools and scrap card are provided. Register using the club form. No date, form URL, access arrangements, impact figures, or testimonials have been supplied. Ask the organiser about missing details before publishing. This is a creative exercise, not a real event.

## Worked example

Plan a tool-assisted workflow for the Green Bench announcement. Keep a human decision at each stage.

### Task and tool

I will use a text assistant to suggest three announcement openings for the fictional notebook repair workshop.

### Human decision

I will select the clearest opening and check every event detail against the supplied brief.

### Fallback

If I cannot access an assistant, I will write three openings myself and compare them with the worked example.

## Your work

Plan a tool-assisted workflow for the Green Bench announcement. Keep a human decision at each stage.

### Task and tool

Write at least 8 words.

### Human decision

Write at least 8 words.

### Fallback

Write at least 8 words.

## Review your work

- [ ] I named one useful task for AI.
- [ ] I kept fact checking and final approval with a person.
- [ ] I described a way to complete the work without paid tools.

Completeness checks do not assess creative quality or factual accuracy. Review the actual work yourself or with a mentor.
